How to photograph clothes for Vinted (so they actually sell)

The first photo is the only one most buyers see in search. If it is dark, cluttered or crooked, they scroll past — no matter how good the item is.

Shoot near a window in daytime. Soft, indirect light beats any flash. Lay the item flat on a plain surface, fill the frame, and shoot straight down.

Vinted shows photos in a 3:4 portrait ratio. Crop to that before you upload, so nothing important gets cut and the item fills the card.

Keep colours honest. A photo that makes a black top look grey leads to returns and bad reviews. When you enhance, match the colour to the real garment.

If you do not have the time or the light, this is exactly what VintyShot fixes: drop the photo in, get a clean, true-to-life shot in the right ratio back in under 20 seconds.
